Product Overview
Composite Type Insulator
Composite type insulators are widely used in modern overhead transmission and distribution systems because they combine electrical insulation performance with low weight, mechanical strength and resistance to demanding outdoor environments. A typical composite insulator uses a fiberglass-reinforced core, polymer housing and metal end fittings to form an integrated insulation component for line support, suspension or tension applications.
WishPower supplies composite type insulators for utilities, EPC contractors, industrial power systems and infrastructure projects. Product selection can be coordinated around system voltage, mechanical load, creepage distance, installation position, pollution severity, fitting type and project specification. Instead of treating every application as the same product, WishPower supports configuration according to the actual operating conditions of the line.
For export projects, technical drawings, interface dimensions, end fittings, shed profile, marking and packing requirements can be confirmed before production. This helps the customer match the insulator to existing hardware and reduces installation mismatches at site.
Product Features
Lightweight composite construction: easier handling and installation compared with many conventional insulating structures.
High mechanical integrity: the fiberglass core is designed to carry tensile or cantilever loads according to the application.
Hydrophobic polymer housing: silicone-rubber housings are commonly selected for their outdoor insulation performance in wet and polluted environments.
Flexible shed profile: creepage distance and shed arrangement can be adapted to project pollution and environmental requirements.
Corrosion-resistant end fittings: fitting material and surface treatment can be selected according to the operating environment.
Project-specific interfaces: ball, socket, clevis, tongue, eye and other connection styles can be coordinated with line hardware.
Suitable for new build and replacement projects: dimensions can be reviewed against existing installations where retrofit compatibility is required.

Selection and Project Engineering
The correct composite insulator should be selected from both electrical and mechanical requirements. Important inputs include system voltage, insulation level, pollution conditions, altitude, required creepage distance, mechanical load, hardware interface and installation orientation. For replacement projects, overall length and fitting dimensions are also important because the new unit must integrate with existing structures and conductors.
WishPower can review customer drawings, data sheets or reference samples and coordinate the product configuration before production. Where the project requires special environmental performance, the housing profile, creepage distance and fitting protection can be discussed during technical review.
Why Choose WishPower Composite Insulators
WishPower focuses on project-based power transmission and distribution products for international markets. For composite insulator projects, the company supports technical confirmation, drawing review, product identification, export packing and delivery coordination. This is especially useful for customers sourcing multiple voltage classes or several interface types within the same project.
Send WishPower the required voltage class, mechanical load, fitting type, creepage requirement, drawing and quantity. The technical team can review the information and prepare a suitable composite type insulator configuration for quotation and approval.
