Introduction of power fittings

Power fittings can be divided into suspension clamps, tension clamps, connection clamps, splice clamps, protection clamps, equipment clamps, T-clamps, busbar clamps, cable clamps and other categories according to their functions and structure.

Metal fittings are mainly used for overhead power lines or substations, connecting wires and lightning clamps to insulators or connecting insulators and lightning clamps to poles and towers. Universal fittings are suitable for various situations and are graded according to load tonnage. Fittings with the same load are interchangeable.

Connection fittings are mainly used for the connection and repair of overhead power line conductors, lightning conductors. According to the difference in structure and installation method, it is divided into compression type, bolt type and pre-twisted wire type: compression type is divided into hydraulic pressure, burst pressure and clamp pressure.

Power fittings are metal accessories that connect and combine various devices in the power system and play a protective role. During the review and acceptance organized by the State Grid Corporation and the Ministry of Science and Technology, the experts of the acceptance committee agreed that the development of UHV fittings filled the gap in domestic UHV power fittings, and the research results reached international advanced levels. The sample design of the power fittings is reasonable and the performance is excellent, which can meet the construction needs of the UHV AC transmission line project.
